Meet The Owner

Terry Petrie

Terry Petrie Jr. is a Certified Geo-technical Engineering Quality Control Supervisor. Terry obtained a B.A. '07 from Kansas State University. He grew up in Norton, Kansas and worked for the city of Norton's landscaping division, this is where he developed his love of horticulture and landscaping.

As the founder and CEO of TOP Lawn and Outdoors LLC (TOP LAO), Terry has successfully built his business by developing a clear road map for the company's direction and operational strategies. Today, thanks to Terry's strategic leadership, TOP LAO is providing landscaping and holiday decor services to HOAs throughout the Houston and Greater Houston area. The companies phenomenal growth is a testament to the quality of service and dedication of Terry and his team.

Meet Our Horticulturist

JohnElla Holmes, PhD

Dr. Holmes uses her knowledge of the cultivation & propagation of plants to provide support to our clients to ensure that those plants thrive. She also partners with other members of our team on property-specific matters. Her mantra is "let them grow".

JohnElla is our in-house holiday decor guru. She oversees the design and production of custom traditional holiday decor. The HOAs have had nothing but rave reviews on the quality of work done by Dr. Holmes and her decor team.
